Wherever you live in Devon, if you are a home owner or private tenant you will be entitled to a discount on loft and cavity wall insulation. (If you do not live in Devon, click here to email your local energy efficiency advice centre about grants in your area).

Warm Up
Warm Up schemes are run in several areas of Devon in partnership with Local Authorities and other agencies. They provide discounts and grants towards insulation and home safety measures for all homeowners and private rented tenants. Those on benefits can get insulation for free, over 60s or those on low incomes pay around £100. Warm Up currently runs in Exeter, North Devon and West Devon areas.

PLEA - Private Landlords for Energy Action
This is a local authority funded grant scheme for private sector landlords, aimed to encourage the up-take of energy efficient measures within privately rented properties. The scheme can offer financial help with heating, loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, hot water tank jackets and low energy light bulbs. Any private sector landlord (excluding student and holiday lettings) in Exeter City, West Devon Borough and South Hams District Council area can apply.

Magic Boiler Scheme
Magic Boiler
The Magic Boiler scheme offers gas and oil condensing boilers at discounted prices, when purchased from a Plumbing Trades Supplies (PTS) store. The boilers have to installed by a CORGI (Gas) or OFTEC (Oil) registered installers. There may also be cash back of up to £20, subject to funding. Warm Front
Warm Front
Warm Front is a Government funded scheme for people on income related benefits. It can offer up to £2,700 (£4000 for rural properties on oil) towards the cost of installing a central heating system or repair work to existing broken heating system.
