WcEA Services for schools
WcEA is currently working to contract to the Building Research Establishment to promote and implement the DfES Sustainable Learning Programme to both primary and secondary schools across the SW. The Sustainable Learning Programme through a structured approach helps schools to reduce their energy and water consumption; assisting schools to save money, reduce their environmental impact and helping to bring about social improvements. For further information contact tony@wcea.org.uk or go to www.sustainablelearning.info.

Westcountry Energy Action also provides additional services to schools through the Energy Agents scheme and through Devon Energy Efficiency Advice Centre (EEAC). The EEAC can provide Energy Saving Trust and local authority branded resources about home energy efficiency and grants available. Low energy lightbulbs can also be provided for low income households.
